Communications Policy

  1. Communications Policy
    1. All communications will be to the email address included in your Registration Application (you can and should update information - see clause 7.1d - Registered Users Policy).

    2. All Registered Users agree that:
      1. The purpose of Chooza is to operate and grow social generosity, and with this in mind the Chooza Platform must be a safe, friendly and helpful community for everyone to use and benefit from.
      2. All information that a Registered User posts or submits via the Chooza Platform must:
        1. Be polite and respectful.
        2. Be true and not misleading in any way.
        3. Not be disparaging or rude (to anyone) in any way.
        4. Not contain references to anything that is illegal or objectionable.
      3. Chooza will have the sole and unilateral right to delete any content that a Registered User posts or otherwise sends via the Chooza Platform if Chooza considers such publication or communication to be:
        1. In any way inappropriate or harmful (or may be perceived as such).
        2. In breach of these Terms (including this Communications Policy).
        3. In breach of any laws, regulations and/or by-laws.
        4. In any way which would make any person who accesses the Chooza Platform to feel unsafe or disrespected.
      4. In addition to the above, Chooza may also suspend or limit a Registered User's usage of the Chooza Platform or terminate a Registered User's right to use the Chooza Platform.

    3. As a Buyer, you agree that:
      1. Chooza will send your contact information (including your phone number, delivery address and email address) to the Seller if Chooza considers this necessary or otherwise appropriate.
      2. The Seller and the Nominated Charity may contact you directly in respect to any transaction undertaken on the Chooza Platform.
      3. Chooza can contact you (including by email) as it considers necessary to properly operate the Chooza Platform (including sending you notification emails regarding Items and Auctions).

    4. As a Seller, you agree that:
      1. Chooza will send your contact information (including your phone number and email address) to the Buyer and the Nominated Charity.
      2. The Buyer and Nominated Charity may contact you directly in respect to any transaction undertaken on the Chooza Platform.
      3. Chooza can contact you (including by email) as it considers necessary to properly operate the Chooza Platform including (without limitation) to send you notification emails regarding Items and Auctions.

    5. As a Charity, you agree that:
      1. Chooza will send your contact (including your phone number and email address) to the Seller and the Buyer of each transaction attributed to you.
      2. The Seller may contact you directly in respect to any transaction undertaken on the Chooza Platform.
      3. Chooza can contact you (including by email) as it considers necessary to properly operate the Chooza Platform.

    6. Whether you are a Buyer, Seller or Charity you agree that:
      1. You will always keep your contact details relating to your Registration current and correct.
      2. You will truthfully and accurately respond promptly to all communications from Chooza, a Buyer, Seller or Nominated Charity which require your response.
      3. Chooza may contact you in a variety of ways including by email, via the Dashboard or otherwise (as Chooza considers appropriate from time to time).

    7. Buyers and Sellers agree that they will not use another Registered User's contact information for any purpose other than to facilitate and complete a transaction.
