The Guardian A guide dog is a guardian that protects and cares for its owner in equal measure. I have created a mythological dog-tiger that protects and cares. A blend of loyalty and bravery. It’s a rare combination that I believe goes way beyond the physical to a spiritual dimension.

Minky Stapleton
"I am a multi-faceted illustrator that works in a range of styles. After studying Graphic Design & Illustration in Cape Town, South Africa many years ago, I moved to Johannesburg and spent my formative years honing my conceptual skills as an award-winning Art Director and later Creative Director. During this time, I worked in some of South Africa’s best advertising agencies, including the infamous TBWA Hunt Lascaris. After a decade in agencies, I gave up the never-ending meetings and late-night shoots, to follow my first love, illustration.
Since then, I have lived in three countries, had exhibitions in South Africa and Australia, designed costumes for a rock opera, created book covers for best-selling authors, illustrated children’s books, and even authored my own children’s book. Now, I call New Zealand my home and live in Auckland with my family and my crazy dog."
